Right. And then you one understands why CML does not have money to pay to someone like Frank Gehry. I mean, CML does not have 5 million to pay for Gehry’s work, but does have 10 times 0.5 million to pay for 10 projects from 10 friends of Mr. Savoury. I am not even a great fan of Gehry, but give him credit for putting Bilbao on the map. simply with a museum (and has anyone ever praised the exhibitions inside the museum? Even if they are twice has good as the ones in Guggenheim NYC, they probably will not be worth the trip). Lisbon would benefit from a nice project from Gerhy, Foster, or any other international “star” (yes, we have the train station from Calatrava, which looks great but it is not a great train station when one has to get the train there). Bilbao did benefit. A lot.
